Application Process
All our programs have a four-step application process
First, apply to your program
We'll spend some time talking about your educational goals, extracurriculars and areas of passion, and your commitment to putting in the time to develop exceptional research. The program takes time - students need to be committed enough to spend 5-7 hours a week.
Choose your research project
We have curated a list of research topics that our mentors are experts at. We'll suggest topics that would add to your existing academic passions and showcase depth in your areas of interest.
We'll take it from there
We'll walk you through the steps of developing and publishing meaningful research. Our program is the most rigorous of any research program for high school students; our mentors are from the world's leading universities and have extensive publication experience.
Then, meet with your Nova Academic Specialist
Our team all went to Stanford, Harvard, and Yale. We'll give you tips on how to leverage your research in your college applications. Strategies differ for every student, and we''l analyze your application holistically - from essays to activities to interviews - where we can showcase your research.
